Role: As a member of the Lynden Door Canadian sales team, the Commercial/Architectural Territory Representative position will deliver the highest level of service and support for Lynden Door's commercial door markets in SK, MB & ON, thereby strengthening customer relationships and contributing to profitable new business opportunities for the organization. They will cultivate intimate relationships with our customers in order to clearly understand their needs and articulate those needs to the organization. They will develop multiple supply chain channels that can benefit from the organization's commercial capabilities and core competencies, and be responsive and positive to our customers, making it easy for them to do business with us.
One of the key service strategies of Project Agility is to provide an elevated customer experience through the effective and timely management of the entire commercial door ordering process - from project bid to order capture, coordination and delivery. The effective coordination of product flow to the project site to meet the desired schedule and the synchronization between Lynden Door, Alliance Door Products and the customer is of great importance.
Responsibilities:
CHH Sales and Account Management:
Develop strong relationships on behalf of Lynden Door with all commercial architectural customers in SK, MB & ON, cultivating an intimate understanding of their specific needs and market trends (product, price and service) to most effectively represent Lynden Door and Alliance Door Products and contribute to future business opportunities.
Day-to-day account management activities for our commercial customer base. Work to drive appropriate commercial opportunities and stocking programs through wholesale distribution, Alliance Door Products.
Mitigate product and customer issues, defects, etc. Positively address customer concerns.
Identify and follow-up all sales opportunities, coordinating quotations, follow-through to negotiation of final sale and customer satisfaction.
Provide regular and ongoing market summaries (current business conditions, market opportunities, account assessments, issues and recommendations).
Work with the Lynden Door / Agility estimating group in preparation of commercial quotations (analyze specifications, understand requirements, confirm costing and coordinate appropriate value proposition)
Develop and maintain expertise related to all facets of the Architectural and Commercial Door applications e.g. fire door listings, sound ratings, hardware, etc.
Project Fulfillment:
Work in conjunction with the Winnipeg & St. Thomas offices on the coordination of commercial projects in SK, MB & ON, including the confirmation of project specification details and assist Lynden Door and Alliance Door Products customer service with determining the most effective shipping and handling logistics. Work with estimators, order engineers, customer service agents and other territory managers to deliver projects on-time and complete.
Effectively coordinate product flow between LDI, ADP and the customer.
Oversee the preparation and approval process for order submissions consisting of shop drawings and door/hardware schedules for the purpose of timely and accurate order confirmations back to the customer and order fulfillment direction back to manufacturing.
Work with ADP staff to schedule the required resources to product flow (receiving, value add services at the branch, packaging, & shipping).
Confirm order details to customers, coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, customers, & project sites, communicate project status with customers, manage project documentation and follow up with customers.
Work with the Project Plan Centre estimating team in preparation of commercial quotations (analyze specifications, understand requirements, confirm costing and coordinate appropriate value proposition).
Channel Management:
Develop strong relationships with Alliance Door Products customers cultivating an intimate understanding of their specific commercial needs and market trends (product, price and service) to most effectively represent Lynden Door/Alliance and contribute to future business opportunities. Make joint calls to accounts with Alliance Door salespeople as required.
Work with the project fulfillment team to guide and direct coordination of Alliance commercial projects in the territory, and assist with estimating and order coordination activities. Identify and follow-up all sales opportunities, coordinating quotations, follow-through to negotiation of final sale and customer satisfaction.
Represent and promote Alliance product and service portfolio to existing Lynden Door direct commercial accounts in Alberta.
Day-to-day account management activities and liaison to Lynden Door's existing wholesale account Alliance Door Products in SK, MB & ON. Work to drive appropriate architectural/commercial opportunities through wholesale distribution channel. Provide product knowledge (PK) and informational presentations to Alliance Door Products and their blended distributors.

Provide regular and ongoing market summaries (current business conditions, market opportunities, account assessments, issues and recommendations).
