LockNet is seeking a Manager for the DFH Div 8 & Div 10 Project Management team. This position is responsible for daily oversight and direction of the team, ensuring training and performance of team members meets expectations.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the department, including administration, estimation, detailing, and project management.
  • Providing training and development opportunities to the team to improve the overall knowledge and performance of staff and to provide and receive feedback.
  • Developing, reviewing, and revising processes and procedures, both departmental and customer-specific, to optimize efficiency.
  • Working with other departments and departmental staff regarding onboarding new programs and making changes to existing programs.
  • Reviewing job bids including developing quotes, building plans, approving customer purchase orders, and assisting with forecasting.
  • Reviewing addendums from contractors with changes in the building plans if necessary.
  • Analyzing and reacting to performance reports such as quote delivery, PO processing, warranty costs, win-rate by contractors, win-rate by customers, etc.
  • Assist with departmental financial budget creation, management, and modifications.
  • Reviewing budgetary line items for warranty and error write-offs and classifying or reclassifying the expense to the proper account.
  • Assist in reduction of warranty frequency and costs.
  • Troubleshooting various issues as they occur within the department such as inventory concerns, production capacity, customer demands, internal errors, freight carrier damages, etc.
  • Communicating interdepartmentally regarding projects and/or issues that may arise.
  • Interfacing with customers as needed.

Standards of Performance

  • Display strong organizational skills, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Manage operations and continually improve by utilizing appropriate performance metrics.
  • Provide leadership to ADHS Department for problem resolution to facilitate fast solutions and improved working relationships.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, written, and oral proficiencies in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company internally and to outside parties.
  • Demonstrate discretion and trust with confidential material.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field, with 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Education requirement may be substituted for candidates with 10+ years of managerial experience
  • Background in a product-related industry preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with process improvement
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Critical thinking skills with a technical/mechanical aptitude required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead people and get results through others.
