Provide detailed door, frame, and hardware submittal, coordinating material requirements provided within contract documents including plans and specifications.  Responsible for code compliance of materials used within the project submittal.  Comsense experience is very beneficial but not a requirement. Opportunities may be available at all levels and salary will be based on experience.  Candidates that exceed the preferred years of experience will be compensated in accordance with skill set and relative work experience.

Essential Functions

• Review award documents on projects from estimating team for accuracy in estimating, quantities and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and plans
• Firm understanding of codes and labeling requirements and must be able to identify potential conflicts.
• Must be able to read and interpret templates
• Must have a clear understanding of hardware functions and how it is installed
• Preparation of RFI questions to address issues found during submittal process
• Provide thorough and detailed submittals in an acceptable timeframe, which include elevation drawings and material cut sheets
• Acute attention to technical detail
• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have extensive knowledge and prior experience in the door and hardware industry
• Comsense Advantage/Enterprise experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Curries, Marshfield, and VT online is preferred but not required
• Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and be able to handle situations ranging from routine to emergency in a calm and efficient manner
• Must be able to organize workload and meet deadlines
• 7-10 years’ experience in commercial door and hardware preferred
