D&M is a one-step material supplier emphasizing in both commercial and residential renovations, and new construction projects nationwide. Our products include interior and exterior doors, frames, millwork, molding, stair parts, windows, and door hardware.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review architectural drawings and specifications to complete a full detailed takeoff of the project. Includes but not limited to:
- Ensure products are delivered on time and accurate
- Determine handing, jamb depth, and undercuts
- Functionality of hardware is accurate for each type of door opening
- Prepare, present, and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with owners, general contractors or subcontractors
- Conduct scope reviews and confirm contract terms and values are stated accurately
- Generate submittals displaying which products will be used in the project
- Coordinate job site delivery with customers and internal delivery staff
- Attend job site meetings with clients, architects, and ownership groups
- Develop solutions for technical issues involving door, frame, and hardware products
- Prepare change orders as required based on plan changes
- Ensure projects budgets are met and managed to maintain gross profit goals
- Consult with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve matters, such as procedures, and construction schedule, or material changes
- Communicate with job site when product delays occur

Qualifications
Education
- A.A.A or B.S. in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or similar field. (Preferred)
- 5+ years experience in Project Management, Estimating, and/or related field experience.
Experience
- Respond to customer questions or conflicts
- Communicate with customers and internal stake holders
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule projects to meet critical deadlines
- Perform material takeoffs and submit estimates
- knowledgeable of reviewing plans or blueprints
- Prepare contracts and revisions to contractual agreements with contractors
- Experience with Project management data base or software is a plus
- Knowledge of Division 8 building materials (Division 6 and 10 knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with ERP software is helpful
- Experience with CAD software is helpful
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word
