Rapid Door & Trim is a fast growing and fast paced construction materials distributor.  We supply and install doors, frames and hardware for commercial construction projects throughout NY, NJ and CT. We work hard, have fun and support each other to provide excellent service to our customers.  We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Review incoming ITB’s to determine validity and understand scope of work
• Review plan and specifications for product details to ensure proposed products meet architect and owner needs
• Perform take-offs
• Use software to build doors, frames and hardware
• Evaluate vendor quotes to obtain accurate pricing on products
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as architects both verbally and in writing
• Prepare cost analysis and estimates ensuring timely completion
• Review and evaluate cost estimates
