PMP is seeking a project Estimator, to be responsible for calculating product costs while determining the issues involved in developing bids for Commercial doors, frames and hardware. Positions available in Charleston and Columbia. Responsibilities Read blueprints, specifications and documents for the project to become familiar with the requirements. Craft detailed, timely proposals outlining the costs of a specific project, obtaining quotes from various manufacturers/vendors with emphasis on maintaining optimal margins. Evaluate the documents for code errors and/or discrepancies. Review quantities, summaries, and price materials from take-offs using price books, vendor quotations, and buying programs.
