Specific qualifications and duties for the Assistant Purchasing Manager position include, but are not limited to:

• Order doors, frames, hardware, and specialties at the direction of the Purchasing Manager for projects and stock inventory
• Identify and address cost savings opportunities and issues with project purchase orders
• Accurately input all door, frame, and hardware orders into vendor order entry systems
• Track status of orders to support project schedules
• Troubleshoot order exceptions with vendors to quickly resolve issues
• Successfully communicate and work with project managers during all stages of the project

More about the position:

• Full-time (7am-4pm), salary depends on experience
• Comprehensive, full benefits and health care package after 90 days
• Located in Pensacola, Florida (limited remote work available)

Candidates must meet the following requirements

• Have basic/intermediate knowledge of division 8 and division 10 products
• Prior experience in the commercial door and hardware industry
• Work well in a team environment
• Pass a background check for secure facilities
• Maintain a clean driving record
