We currently have openings for Sales Team Leader, Estimators and Detailers for our Allied Door Division.   Estimating includes the takeoff, pricing and negotiating with vendors and customers of a project.  Sales Team Leader provides leadership to estimating, reviews all estimates, relationship building with customer base, negotiates and closes job and provides pre-construction management.  These roles require extraordinary job performance to ensure consistency in execution, accuracy and excellent communication skills and a high degree of construction management skills to drive efficiencies and on time and in budget job completion.    In addition, they would provide frequent real time updates to various departments at various levels as well as manage and schedule direct reports to meet or exceed all customers’ expectations both internal and external.  Allied is focused on new construction projects that include health care, food and beverage, hospitality, defense, aerospace, industrial, institutional and multi-family project throughout Florida.  Applicants must by heavy users of Comsense Enterprise and Advantage. 

These positions work in conjunction with our Sr. Management Team to insure compliance with meeting contract deadlines, insure quality control standards, insure on time delivery and meet budgets.   In depth knowledge and management is required of Door and  Door Hardware supply chain and the fluid and fluctuating changes in today’s manufacturing environment of raw components using factory lead times alongside of in house production times to build production and shipping schedules.

• At least 2 years estimating architectural doors and hardware under supervision of others
• 3 or more years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment in the Door and Hardware Industry
• 2 years’ experience with Comsense Enterprise and Advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Estimating and or Project Management,  Fulfillment Operations and Supply Chain principles and practices (preferred)
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and/or experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
• Data Gathering and Analysis – Use company technologies to improve operations.
• Project Management – Ability to plan and manage projects and processes as well as allocate resources and monitor progress
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to articulate department needs to other functional areas both inside and outside
• Goal Driven
• Ability to influence, motivate and guide a diversified group of team members to achieve business objectives and utilize a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong analytical skills and very comfortable working with data and spreadsheets
• Fact Based Management to drive business decisions, business objectives and continuous improvement
• Effective organizational and planning skills and can execute on plans/ideas
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
