Manages all aspects of a project once project has been awarded by customer and turned over by estimator. Responsible for submittals to closeout for each project. Reviews plans and specifications, understands the scope of work, contractual obligations, and Division 8 specifications. Using product knowledge, details door and hardware and associated products, prepares shop drawings and submittals. Identifies conflicts, code issues and other design concerns and submits questions/RFI’s formally by email or by client project management communication system. Orders all materials once submittals have been approved, ensuring submittal redlines are properly implemented. Responsible for pricing and processing all project change orders.
