The Project Manager will work hand in hand with various in-house departments, as well as customers and vendors, to initiate, detail, and actively manage numerous projects on a daily basis. The Project Manger will oversee various size construction projects both onsite and in an administrative capacity. The qualified individual must be an energetic, self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills to multi-task, prioritize, and complete projects on time.
This opportunity requires an individual to be intuitive and solve problems using skills acquired through experience within the doors, frames, and building distribution industry or construction industry.
Position Summary / Expectations:
Coordinating submittals for approval, reviewing and correcting approved submittals, and submitting orders to manufacturer for fabrication.
Working with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping details.
Solving complex issues that may arise in a timely manner.
Proficient communication skills with timely follow-up.
Oversee, anticipate and coordinate the flow of construction in order to meet the projected schedule.
Construction document management: contracts, submittals, transmittals, change orders, sales orders, request for proposals, requests for information and close out documents.
Establish clear communication between Total Hardware, Inc. and the customer including progress reporting and resolution of problems arising during construction .
Experience in project management and familiarity with construction drawings & specifications.
Candidates must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as a proven track record of consistently meeting project deadlines and logistical requirements to exceed customer expectations.
Communicating with Contractor and attending jobsite meetings as requested.
Bachelor's degree with at least 1+ years of previous experience in the construction industry strongly preferred.
Understanding of building systems, design, construction, and related management strategies.
Ability to expedite complex projects and complete multiple assignments within time constraints.
Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office, NAV and ProTech.
Professional level writing skills appropriate for correspondence, reports, and responses to various customers
