Washington Door and Hardware seeks a Division 8 Project Manager/Estimator to help grow and strengthen our business relationships with our most strategic construction partners. This role is essential in elevating our company’s profile, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution in line with our corporate objectives.
As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will estimate, schedule, operate, and manage projects from concept to closeout. You will work closely with some of our largest partners, ensuring that activities and relationships are well-positioned for customer success. We seek a self-motivated, efficient, hard-working, and customer-oriented professional to join our team.
Ensure all project-related work is performed safely, on time, cost-effectively, and in compliance with applicable plans, specifications, company policies, and construction best practices.
Review all project documents, including approved submittals, architectural plans, specifications, hardware schedules, and product fact sheets for material handling.
Verify and document accurate field measurements.
Purchase and procure materials for installation or modification.
Construct orders for all required project materials.
Verify change order requests for accuracy.
Track project costs in alignment with general contractor and owner budgets.
Foster a positive work environment, ensuring teamwork and collaboration to drive quality and value for our clients.
Estimating:
Manage bid takeoff and proposal preparation. Estimate projects by using drawings and specifications; estimate costs of materials, labor, and contracts. Ensure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the project. Adhere to all bid deadlines

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of five years in a commercial door company.
Strong familiarity with major manufacturers of commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
Ability to read architectural blueprints, project plans, specifications, and door & hardware schedules.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted and influential relationships with key strategic customers.
Ability to learn and use company software to create submittals for clients.
Strong work ethic, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills, MS Office suite
Willingness to work collaboratively, learn, and grow within the company.
Ability to follow company processes and accurately maintain work records.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
