We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing team.

The Estimator is responsible for accurately reviewing project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for commercial doors, frames and hardware projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, sales staff and contractors to ensure competitive and profitable bids.  

• Analyze architectural drawings, specification and related documents.
• Quantify materials and prepare accurate take-offs for doors, frames and hardware.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals within tight deadlines.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain material pricing and lead times.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales to develop value engineering options.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, products and codes.
• Track bid status and follow up with clients as needed.
• Strong understanding of doors and hardware specifications, codes and standards (ADA, UL, etc.).
• Proficiency with estimating software - Comsense.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
