We currently have openings for an experienced estimator.  Our estimator's scope or work includes the takeoff, pricing, bidding and negotiating with vendors and customers of the project bid,  This role requires extraordinary job performance to ensure accurate cost estimating using Comsense, submitting the estimate to the customer and constant follow up.   Excellent communication skills are required to work through manufactures and customers to build a positive relationship with both.  A high degree of construction management skills to drive efficient and on time bid submittal is required.   In addition, the role provides frequent real time updates to various departments at various levels as well as manage and schedule direct reports to meet or exceed all customer's expectations both internal and external.  Allied is focused on new construction projects that include health care, food and beverage, hospitality, defense, aerospace, industrial, institutional and multi-family project throughout the South East.  Applicants must be heavy users of Comsense Enterprise and Advantage. 

These position works in conjunction with our Sr. Management Team to insure compliance with meeting contract deadlines, insure quality control standards, insure on time delivery and meet budgets.   In depth knowledge and management is required of Door and  Door Hardware supply chain and the fluid and fluctuating changes in today’s manufacturing environment of raw components using factory lead times alongside of in house production times to build production and shipping schedules.

• At least 3 years of direct supervision of others
• 3 or more years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment in the door and hardware industry
• 3 years’ experience with Comsense Enterprise and Advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Estimating and or Project Management,  Fulfillment Operations and Supply Chain principles and practices (preferred)
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and/or experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
• Data Gathering and Analysis – Use company technologies to improve operations.
• Project Management – Ability to plan and manage projects and processes as well as allocate resources and monitor progress
